Multiple Copart and IAA Purchases: Plan a Dealer Collection Sequence

Vehicles bought across different auction yards do not automatically form one ready transport load. Give FleetX a location-and-readiness list so ground collection and onward ocean planning can be evaluated around real constraints rather than just the number of purchases.

Group by usable collection windows

For each VIN, capture the site, release confirmation, permitted pickup window and loading needs. Ask whether collection addresses are close enough and times compatible for a proposed ground plan. A map cluster is not a dispatch commitment; the carrier still needs suitable equipment and accepted access at every location.

Compare waiting against separate moves

Identify the vehicle with the earliest storage exposure and the vehicle with unresolved readiness. Ask FleetX to compare collecting available units separately with waiting for the complete group. Include extra handling, storage and possible ocean-plan changes in that decision, not just the anticipated reduction in ground price per vehicle.

Keep individual authorizations intact

A dealer batch still needs the correct release reference for every lot. Give the coordinator a clear mapping of buyer account, site and authorized transporter without exposing account passwords. Confirm receiving capacity for the vehicles expected together, and notify all affected sites if the agreed collection sequence changes.

Three vehicles across two auction sites

Hypothetical dealer batch: Unit A at Site 1 is ready; Units B and C at Site 2 have different outstanding items. These labels represent no actual VIN or auction location. Compare a split collection with waiting for the complete batch using current quotes and release evidence.

Ask FleetX to compare vehicle-specific collection charges, extra visits, storage exposure, staging and ocean receiving implications. Waiting may reduce one visit while adding storage or missing another accepted window. Keep each assumption and the quote owner visible; this example establishes no cheaper option or automatic consolidation approval.
