Auction Pickup Trucks: Supply the Measurements That Change Transport

A pickup truck’s configuration matters when FleetX assesses ground equipment and ocean handling. Send measurements of the purchased Copart or IAA unit, including modifications, rather than relying on the dimensions of a standard model found online.

Describe the exact configuration

Record cab and bed type, overall length, width and height, measurement units and the information source. Include racks, oversized tires, lift changes and anything protruding beyond the body. If measurements are unavailable, mark them pending and ask who can safely obtain them before the transport scope is accepted.

Check load and condition assumptions

State whether the bed contains equipment or loose cargo and whether the vehicle rolls, steers and brakes. Provide available weight information with its basis rather than guessing from size alone. Ask FleetX which details require carrier confirmation; make no universal assertion that a pickup will fit a particular trailer, container or vessel arrangement.

Retain the accepted handling basis

Keep the reviewed dimensions and condition beside the quote and pickup instruction. If collection reveals a different configuration, notify the coordinator before onward movement. A worked planning example should remain hypothetical unless backed by an approved shipment record; actual equipment suitability must be confirmed for the vehicle being moved.
