Ocean Booking Changes: Reconnect the Auction Vehicle’s Ground Plan
A revised ocean booking can alter receiving instructions even if the auction pickup stays unchanged. Ask FleetX to review the connected ground and ocean plan before acting on a new departure estimate or moving the vehicle to another preparation location.

Identify what actually changed
Record the replacement booking reference, receiving point, proposed dates and reason for the revision. Ask which details are confirmed rather than treating a suggested alternative as an accepted service. Tell the document contact and receiver that the previous sequence is being reviewed, and keep the physical vehicle location visible.
Check receiving and document dependencies
Ask whether the current preparation site can hold the vehicle and whether another ground transfer is required. Obtain revised document and cargo cutoffs from the responsible parties. Ocean acceptance conditions should be reconfirmed if the proposed method or operator changes; an earlier approval is not permission for every replacement arrangement.
Approve the revised movement
Review storage, handling and booking-change costs using the applicable provider terms. Agree the replacement scope with FleetX before instructing further movement. Share the latest confirmed milestone and next required action with the buyer; do not reset the whole journey to an unsupported arrival promise.
