IAA Pickup Requirements: Check the Selling Branch

For an IAA or IAAI purchase, the collection instructions must match the actual branch and vehicle. Prepare a short branch confirmation before asking FleetX to dispatch ground transport or connect the purchase to an ocean shipment.

Read the applicable local instructions

IAA’s Electric Vehicle Auctions location publishes its own release-email and collection information. This illustrates why one branch page cannot define every IAA pickup. In Canada, the published auction rules describe a release slip or gate pass. Ask your selling location which documents and authorizations apply to your stock and country.

Confirm the load can be handled

Describe the vehicle’s weight, missing wheels, keys and obstruction to steering. Ask the location and transporter whether the proposed equipment is permitted and who provides loading help. Avoid assuming staff can load any vehicle size or damage condition. Resolve an equipment mismatch before the carrier makes an unsuccessful trip.

Give FleetX a usable release summary

Send the stock reference, site contact, confirmed collection conditions and intended onward destination. Flag each unanswered item separately from facts the branch has confirmed. FleetX’s ground and ocean planning should use this specific purchase information, not a copied timetable from another branch or an old auction email.
