Auction Delivery or Ground and Ocean Shipping? Compare the Endpoint

A delivery offer from the auction and a FleetX ground-and-ocean plan may end in different places. Compare the full journey from the purchased vehicle’s yard to your receiver before choosing on price.

Name both delivery endpoints

Write the exact destination of each offer: residence, workshop, staging yard, terminal or overseas city. Ask whether unloading and any onward movement are included. An inland delivery can be suitable for a domestic purchase but leave a separate ocean booking and another collection to organize for an international buyer.

Compare scope rather than brand labels

List equipment, release coordination, ground destination, ocean handling and destination responsibility side by side. Do not assume an auction-arranged service or an independent provider includes every step. Ask FleetX to state the legs it proposes for your vehicle; compare exclusions and change terms as carefully as the quoted transport total.

Avoid overlapping bookings

Before accepting a second transport arrangement, check whether the first has already been instructed or assigned. Ask its provider about cancellation and outstanding charges. Keep a single current collection instruction for the auction and name who communicates changes. Two competing pickup plans can create confusion without solving the onward shipping requirement.
