Vehicle Shipping Quote Exclusions: Questions Before Acceptance
A ground-and-ocean quote is a transport scope, not necessarily the entire cost of owning an imported auction vehicle. Ask FleetX to show inclusions and exclusions before accepting the proposed journey to your final destination.

Separate purchase costs from transport
Keep the winning bid, auction fees and seller charges outside the freight subtotal unless explicitly included. Ask who pays the auction balance and who authorizes collection. A transport estimate should not be treated as confirmation that these purchase obligations are settled or that the auction will release the vehicle immediately.
Ask about exceptional handling
Identify waiting, failed collection, winching, missing-wheel handling, storage and booking changes as separate questions. Ask which are already priced, which require approval and how evidence will be supplied. Describe the vehicle honestly before acceptance; undisclosed damage or a revised pickup address can change the equipment and movement being quoted.
Define the arrival costs and owner
Ask whether destination terminal handling, clearance, taxes, inspection and local delivery are included or arranged separately. Assign each excluded item to a buyer, agent or receiver and obtain its own estimate. FleetX can assess the transport plan while the appropriate destination party confirms import obligations; keep both workstreams in your total budget.
